Traditional nickel stripping operations in electroplating and PCB industries face many pain points: high working temperature of 80–90℃, large amount of organic additives such as sodium meta-nitrobenzene sulfonate, toxic ingredients including chromic anhydride or cyanide, dark copper substrate after stripping, hard wastewater treatment and low metal recycling value.
A new generation of room-temperature nickel stripper brings a game-changing stripping solution. It is cyanide-free and heavy-metal-free, no nitric acid, no acid mist or yellow fume. The stripping rate reaches 1 μm/min at 30℃ and 2 μm/min at 50℃. 1L concentrated mother liquor can dissolve 40–50g nickel after dilution. After nickel stripping, the copper substrate remains bright without black residues. The spent stripping solution features simple composition, organic additives below 50ppm, which is ideal for nickel recovery.

✅ Room-temperature stripping, low energy cost The new nickel stripper works at 20–70℃; the optimal temperature range is 30–50℃, no high heating required, cutting energy consumption greatly.
✅ Clean sulfate system, easy metal recovery Only nickel sulfate and trace non-toxic additives exist in the spent liquid. Low organic content, no refractory organics, perfectly matching our extraction and electrowinning nickel recovery equipment.

Working Principle & Operation Guidance
- Bath preparation: Mix 1L mother liquor + 2.7L water + 200mL 30% hydrogen peroxide + 115mL 98% sulfuric acid, stir well for use.
- Immerse nickel-plated workpieces in the bath for stripping. When stripping efficiency drops, add 30% hydrogen peroxide to restore activity.
- Consumption reference: 1.4g of 30% hydrogen peroxide for every 1g dissolved nickel, equivalent to 4.7mL 30% H₂O₂. Control H₂O₂ concentration at 10–20g/L for stable performance.
- After stripping, take out parts and rinse with clean water immediately to avoid substrate corrosion.
- Send saturated nickel stripping waste liquid to our solvent extraction & electrowinning unit for nickel metal recovery.
